As teams giveth and taketh away in the racing game, we’ve gotten confirmation that one mainstay of North American motorsports will be making their return to the top ranks of racing in 2027 – Kellymoss Racing.
The Wisconsin-based outfit announced on Friday that they have secured an entry into the 2027 IMSA season, with Colin Braun spearheading their effort which will come in a continued, longtime partnership with Porsche.
Braun will be joined by Michael Clark in the full-season run, while Kyle Marcelli has been confirmed as the third man in for Michelin Endurance Cup rounds.
Kellymoss last raced in IMSA back in 2023 under a partnership banner with Riley Technologies. In that time since they’ve continued to field multiple entries into Porsche Carrera Cup North America and GT World Challenge America, with Braun and Clark having just completed a full-season effort in the Pro Am class and finishing sixth in the standings.
The move for Braun come as Acura closes down their LMDh/GTP program, leaving their stable of drivers to settle for their next moves. Braun will slot back into the GT ranks in which he has plenty of experience in throughout his long career, however it’ll mark the first time since 2019 that the 38-year-old will contest against GT competition.
